Alex (b.1989) is a highly talented local artist, whose art has evolved from happy times at the Royal School for Deaf Children, Margate through to his experience at Art4all.

Alex is deaf, autistic and non-verbal and uses British Sign Language. Although he struggles to communicate, he does project his thoughts through his colourful artwork. Art has given Alex a purpose, increased his confidence whilst keeping him calm and focused. It has brought much happiness and into his life.

Alex is a self-taught drawer of skyscrapers, spending many hours outside of the studio illustrating. Through colour and composition guidance, Alex’s paintings have now developed into bold and beautiful works which has led to many sales. His paintings have found new homes in as far afield places as Australia.
