Olivia (b.1999) has sensory art sessions which take place in her home. She is deaf, autistic and non-verbal. Communication can be difficult for her. Olivia shows a preference for painting with a roller as well as collage projects. She also likes to take part in applying paint using non-traditional tools such as bag painting, dripping paint and balloon painting.

Olivia’s process is one that is intuitive, where a creative conversation takes place silently between her and Sandra.

She will take turns to apply many different techniques, working on at least five different artworks at a time.
